    I can'T believe this ebayer...

Hey guys so i had this card :

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=221013719032

And i sold it to a ebayer that buys a lot from me for 80$, while having a 85$ offer from another ebayer..

the othere dude messages me :

Why did you sell this card for $80.00....I made an offer of $85.00???????????? I want an explanation!

So i explain him that the other member was buying it from me since he offered me the 80$ earlier and he buys 10-15 cards, i sold to him as a favor!!!

    He responds:

your explanation is UNACCEPTABLE. I am reporting this incident to eBay.

What ebay policy forces me to sell to the highest offer?

    This is ridiculous..completly...

Ive had this happen before Max. I wouldnt worry at all. Ebay will tell him its your item you can do as you please. Its no different than cancelling someones bid on an auction item.

What to watch out for, though, is if he buys another item and then slaps you with a negative feedback.

I had a buyer 'purchase' a card and message me immediately that he made a mistake, would I please cancel the transaction (it was like a $50 card). I said sure, no big deal - easier than waiting to file the non-paying bidder, etc. Guy leaves me positive feedback saying that I communicated well, blah, blah... Then messages me asking me to leave positive feedback for him. I said there was no transaction to leave feedback for him and eBay's policies prevented me from doing so. He purchases another card for $1, and leaves me negative feedback - no contact, nothing (before eBay's policy change). I talked to eBay and they said they could do nothing since it was up to the buyer to 'honestly' post feedback reflecting the way they felt about this transaction. They said I would have to contact the buyer directly. Instead, he went on my banned list...

Hopefully, your 'buyer' isn't going to try and retaliate...

Blocking them is good for that eBay ID but they could retaliate with any other ID they might have.

Anyways, Max PM me the user ID so I can avoid them too. Thanks

It's ridiculous, Max, he can't do anything, and Ebay will tell him nothing wrong went down. He's just bitter he didn't get the card.
