Between The Pipes 06-07
Anyone have experience breaking a box (or boxes) of these? I found a website w/ a very good price, but am wondering how "good" the boxes are. The odds of GU Mem cards is 1:24, much lower than the last couple years of BTP. Just wondering if good hits seem to be plentiful, or if most of the boxes include low-ish GU stuff. Any info is much appreciated, thanks!

I've only opened a few boxes, but it's one of my favorites for BTP. The hits were pretty good quality, even though the quantity is far less than recent years. I'd say take a stab at a box or 2.

Cool, good to hear. That set has a ton of Barrasso hits, maybe I'll get lucky and hit one. Will probably buy 2 boxes.

I busted a box...a little underwhelming...2 autos and game used I think...that was it. Odds aren't as good as current and recent years.

I know, that was my concern. However, the box is just over half the price of the 11-12 set.

Hobby and not Arena is key here. Make sure you're getting hobby.
Check the group breaks forum for what a case would look like (I know that's what you're after). Doniceage has done several group breaks of this stuff..... personally, I love it. Lots of very good stuff.
I've also done a couple of boxes, and like any product.... they can be hit or miss. If memory serves me correctly, you'll usually get 3 'hits' - 1 GU and 1 Auto.... plus 1 more (autos are 1:18, I think ??) plus the inserts.

2006-07 ITG Between The Pipes is my favourite BTP set to date. You can hit lots of nice cards. I've opened 3 boxes of it. First one was amazing with some superb hits, the other two were dissapointing to say the least.
It's definetly a hit-or-miss product. There aren't many "average" boxes of 2006-07 ITG BTP, but if you're lucky, you'll hit the jackpot.
The price of the boxes is also great compared to how much a 2011-12 version costs, so I'd say go for it.
Best regards,
