Peyton is definitely the better Manning...Eli may have one more ring, but Peyton still has one. That's a different comparison than Wade and James since LeBron hasn't won yet.

I agree about Bosh...but he's really shown to be kind of an x-factor for the Heat. He may not be as big as the other two, but he's definitely underrated in comparison.

I thought you would say that about the Mannings.

Yeah Bosh has been the Xfactor but like I said I think he benefits from being they're 3rd option. To his credit he has carried the Heat at points during the season but they're are a lot of players who have carried a team here and there. Im just saying I don't seem him as an equal or even an All Star (any more, he has deserved it in the past).

For the ring argument though I feel that people only use it when it suits them. Like 'oh LeBron needs a ring' but I haven't heard anyone saying the 2xMVP and future HOF Steve Nash NEEDS a ring. Or when people have rings they have sidekicks so it doesn't count. But everyone has had or was a sidekick to a championship.

Rings are important but they're a team achievement. MVPs and All Star berths are personal accomplishments. But I guess you can't win a ring just because you're popular...

At least the Heat know how to win with class...wait, what?

Pittman deserves at least the seven Artest got, as his cheap shot on Stephenson was worse last night. Haslem deserves one or two games for his retaliation.

If Haslem gets suspended so shound Tyler.

And I find it funny you should talk about class when Miami has taken so many cheap shots all series and when they finally retaliated its all of the sudden a big deal.

Pittman did what everyone expected. Put Stephenson in his place after all that trash he was talking. Having said that I think 4-5 games is reasonable. He is not a repeat offender like Artest.

FWIW, I have though the past 2 postseasons that the Pacers have been the dirtiest team out there. With the way they played in the Bulls series last year and the Heat series this year. Just seems like they want to have a fight out there vs. actually trying to play and beat a team.

Hansborough's play was a playoff foul. If you don't like that, oh well. I was talking to some Heat fans about this on another forum, and they completely agreed. Haslem retaliated, he deserves a suspension.

I must be missing these cheap shots...I've seen Granger get in some faces, but I've also seen LeBron misfire on some elbows. Nothing compares to Pittman.

Dexter Pittman is a goon, plain and simple. That wasn't expected...it was a cheap clothesline to a defenseless player. What a punk. In my eyes, that was even worse than Artest. He deserves 7-10.

In my opinion Hanbroughs foul was a playoff foul. He went for the ball. Haslem I think should be suspended for the next game and Pittman should be extended for 4-6 game I think. I highly doubt the league will suspend two guys from one team and none from the other. If that happens it is a pity because that is what should happen.

Haslem got one, Pittman got three...I agree with Haslem (should've either been ejected OR suspended) and Pittman got off too easily. Goon.

Thats just it, Haslem should have been ejected. Not suspended. They are hurting the Heat due to a referee error. That should not happen.

Secondly, this all started because of Hans cheap foul. I dont care what you say. He has a history of these going back to last years playoffs against the Bulls and beyond. He knew what he was doing and it was intentional. Same as Haslems foul. Indiana has been one of the dirtier teams against quality playoff opponents the past 2 seasons. They atempt to go out and fight you not beat you.

Foster, McBob and Hans all did it last year. Now its Granger and Hans.

And to Pittman and being expected. Stephenson ran his mouth all series because he is a nobody and didnt think anyone would do anything to him. He was being a coward. Does he deserve to be hit like that? No, but he deserved to be put in his place. Every sport allows this to a punk like Stevenson. Hockey lets people put them on their ™™™ and baseball will throw a fastball to your back. Pittman was doing what he thought was basketballs version. It was dirty and as I said earlier I think deserved more then what he got.

This is all to mention the fact you complain about Lebron throwing elbows to protect himself but Haslem takes stitches to the dome because of an elbow and thats cool. Seem a bit biased here?

For the record, I think all the elbows (James and everyone else who throws them constantly) is cheap and BS. Anytime you get a rebound and throw your elbows you are putting people at risk. Damn that "Protecting the ball" stuff. You are trying to hurt someone who dares steal the ball from you.
