Upper deck series 1 and Authentic
I was wondering what the difference between these to sets? For example is Authentic a more expensive Series 1 with all the different inserts and rookies. Or Authentic more about auto's well Series 1 is a lot of different things?
Thanks for the help

Way more autos in Authentic.
Series 1 you'll get 6 Young Guns rookie cards, 2 jersey cards, and a bunch of inserts. SP Authentic - I think you're gaurenteed 3 autos per box (someone else can confirm). The Auto'd rookies in this set are typically worth much more than the young guns from Series 1.

Pretty sure it is 3 autos as well. Authentic is a more higher mid-end product while S1 is more of a lower mid-end product. If you are doing base sets, SPA will be easier to accomplish, generally 3 boxes or so and you have a complete set of base as well as some awesome hits. UD S1 is cheaper however, and has more subsets if you want that, along with some solid hits!Last edited by flopfish; 05-26-2012 at 04:38 PM.

What would be the higher end upper deck series 1 product? Would it be SPX or artifacts? Or is it Authentic the big brother of upper deck series 1?

They are all unique. SPA is the highest end of the ones you are asking about. The only brother to Series 1 is Series 2.
