Buying Base Set Pokemon Cards

I am trying to accomplish something that I was unable to do as a child that I always wanted to do. It was to complete a set of pokemon cards. I will be putting together the Base set of Pokemon (non-1st edition). I may do another set or two in the future but this is really the only one i want right now, just to have it and hopefully pass down to my kid (when I have one).
