    Bought this 10/11 Panini Playoff Contenders card #71 as a single at my local card shop. It is not a # card or any mention of the auto on the back, but it definetly looks like Brodeur's Sig...

    That's either an IP/TTM/fake auto. The base cards in Contenders did not have a hard-signed parallel version.

    Go back to your lcs and ask the owner where he got the card. Chances are he will lie about it, but marty doesn't have autos in anything except the higher end stuff such as the CUP from what I remember and he didn't even have any autos in dominion last year. It's things like this disgust me about the hobby. Too many people looking to make a quick buck. Hopefully you didn't spend too much on it!!

    Brodeur definitely had autos in Dominion last year - was SP'd in many of the #'d sets.

    This year, though, it's pretty slim pickings - he didn't re-up with ITG so he's got nothing in BTP and everything so far has been sticker autos.

    No probs. I suspect that all the autos this year are existing sticker stock - anybody know if there have been any redemptions this year?
