Will There Be Random Vandalism In L.A. County ?
By the Non-Hockey types?
I cannot see how windows aren't smashed and TV's stolen. I know it won't be like the Rodney King verdict, but one would expect a few overturned cars, and some TV's lifted at least.
What ghetto does not celebrate a championship?

See it? Nowhere.
My buddy that lives down the block is from L.A. and almost 50. He fully expects some good damage from non-Hockey types.
You think people are going to behave? I don't.

It's sad but we see it with almost any major sporting event these days. Somebody with an axe to grind will look for any excuse.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I live out in LA, and I haven't seen so many hockey jerseys in my life. Most LA fans are just happy to have a winning team, I do not think there will be much random vandalism if any however.

I agree with efish44, im about 40 miles out of LA and I've seen "Kings" hats, jerseys, shirts ect ect ect all over. But at the same time, common, its LA. I predict there will be very mild damage. Nothing like vancouver.

If they win, obviously there won't be as much. There probably will be people there specifically to riot if there is a location to watch the game outside around the city, just like there were in Vancouver. As long as the fans don't get emotionally caught up in it, then there won't be much at all. The thing that hurt Vancouver was the fact they allowed lots of people the opportunity to watch the game on a Bryzgalov-big TV that is in the centre of downtown. It gave the rioters a chance to blend in. IDK if LA has one or not, but either way, if there is one, find the quickest escape route!
