It's sickening as a Saad collector seeing his titanium rookie selling for 100+ just because the card is numbered to 43. I think that is the ONLY downfall of the product

Why is that a downfall of the product? The ICE RC's sell like that as well because they are numbered /99. Same thing with Young Guns Exclusives or High Glosses. The numbering is what makes them rare to pull and valuable. It does stink as a player collector, but it's certainly not a downfall of the product.

They should have done like the ICE rookies and did the different tears. The better players and prospects /99 and just increase the serial numbers to /199 and then /499 or something to that effect.

Yeah I see what you're saying. But for people that pull those RC's out of Titanium, it adds value to their box which increases their satisfaction and happiness. Unfortunately the downside is that it makes it tough on player collectors. I think Panini will take that trade off all day long. Titanium is a huge hit and I don't see too much changing with it for next year, ya know?

I fail to understand how a non-autographed, non-memorabilia parallel that sells for three figures constitutes a negative for the product.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I agree! Its nice to see cards without an auto or mem piece fetching some big dollars! Its also nice that they are case hits which make them better (IMO)!

    Johansen $358

    Miele $153
    Leblanc $122
    Saad $122
    Ellis $122

Those aren't the Draft position parallels, they are the RC's which are numbered to their jersey numbers. These prices will drop, as they're most likely a couple player collectors wanting to add to their PCs quickly. Only one person could technically complete the set of all 100 rookies.

I'm also looking at all the Saad Titanium cards that are showing up on eBay. I've seen two of the /43 cards sell on eBay, for $120 and $125.

But how the heck do you tell if that's the normal jersey number card, or the draft position parallel? Every other rookie it is obvious since jersey number and draft position is different. But Saad is #43 for each, lol.

I know that the cards will be different as far as thickness and foil. But that doesn't seem readily apparent from eBay photos. So do I need to ask each seller if the card is thick or thin?
