Watch out Kevin, you're next in line
Well assuming Miami will win one of the next three games and get the title that will remove the yea but Lebron hasn't won a title argument. With that being said trust me you're going to hear that Durant is soft, one dimensional and any other comment people will associate with superstars who haven't won a title.Durant has not looked great in this series except for game one,but Harden has looked even worse, how many of you guys and gals agree with me that Durant is the next chosen one to be picked on.

I dont think so, Durant is very personable when he does press confrences and what not he sounds very responsible and like a very stand up guy. Very likeable. In other words he doesnt rub people the wrong way ala LBJ. Durant chose to stay in a small market where people absolutely love him! Unlike Lebron who left the small market "to take his talents to south beach" and form some super team. Creating a definent alliance of fans and haters. Theres also something to be said for being there before, nothing compares to actually playing in the championship, the fact that Lebron has been to the Championship before is part of what brings the burdon upon him. Not to mention everytime Lebron opens his mouth, he manages to say somethin people dont like!
Personally I think Durant has a long way to go before he starts getting "picked on"

Durant will get picked on somewhat because there will always be haters but no where near as lebron or even kobe.

I don't see that being the case at all. The reason this happened to LeBron is because time after time he didn't show up when it mattered the most. Besides, Durant is 23? LeBron wasn't getting critized at 23, either.

Did everyone forget how people ragged on Dirk for years about being soft and not winning a title?

The criticism was on LeBron for the way he sacrificed loyalty for ring chasing and his general public dislike. Durant has yet to come off as an arrogant jerk and signed a long term contract to stay with his team. Plus, he's only 23. People weren't making Ringless King jokes when LeBron got destroyed in his first Finals, either.

I kind of think Melo, Howard and Paul will be next before Durant. People expect big things from those guys and it seems they will be next, not Durant. I might even think Rose could be criticized more for being injured.

I agree Howard might be the next 'victim' depending on what the big baby does next summer. If he takes he 'talents to Brooklyn' to make their own super team. Plus he is rubbing people up the wrong way like LeBron did.
On a side note, how come no one has criticised Nash? Surely a two-time MVP should be able to carry a team?
