    Titanium craziness

I think they've done a good job with this product and there's some serious bang for your buck, but this seems a little extreme:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/11-12-Titani...item4d025d70d1

That seems crazy for a parallel (edit - my mistake, not a parallel but still insanely high) of a d-man who didn't really like it up in 2011-12. It's about the same price as the most recent two-color Toews Cup rookie that sold on Ebay, and about $50 less than a Markstrom Ultimate Shield.

Congrats to the seller on that one. My guess is that card will be available next year for about 10% of the current sales price.

That's the true RC, not a parallel. Nevertheless, the price is too high as, like you said, Moore hasn't really proven anything on the NHL level.

Never understood why some people will pay so much for rookies and/or career minor leaguers. Plain dumb if you ask me.

It's not about who it is...
It's not about it being a rookie...

A complete set is worth so... much... more...

    LOL!

Without subbing in a Moore parallel, there are only a couple legitimate 'sets' even possible. It takes determination, commitment, and a healthy checkbook to get it done.

How many examples have we seen over the years of set builders going to extreme lengths to ensure that they have a completed project? Think 06-07 Parkhurst autos, 08-09 Centennial Habs Inks, etc., as this is exactly the same type of thing. Well, more like the Ty Conklin Titanium RC that was a 1/1 that fetched $2K back in the day. Ty freakin' Conklin, people! LOL

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Wow, crazy. I just can't imagine someone trying to complete the Titanium rookie set. There can only be one set, hinging on that Mikko Koskinen 1/1.

The Koskinen is going to go for like $2,500+ at this rate. Unbelievable.

Anyone remember back in 2001 and Pacific Private Stock Rick DiPietro rookies?? Them who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
