Now what?
What will Lebron haters say now? Oh he only has ONE ring, who cares? Why does Lebron still get so much hate? Even after he won the title, people will still hate him just watch, since Lebron haters only had the whole "He has no rings" argument.

Hate is a pretty strong word, and just because someone don't believe he's the best player in the NBA or the greatest ever doesn't make them a hater. That's one of the most overused words.

Hate is a sign of respect. I remember how many people hated jordan when he was on top of his game. After he retired the hate was passed on to kobe now lebron. No one will waste their time hating chris quin because he is a nobody. Hate is only reserved for the great ones.

Realistic LeBron "HATERZ" (i.e.: anyone that has ever said anything relatively negative about him) respect his game, realize that he's great, and "hate" him for his blatant arrogance and general ™™™™™™bag-ness.

I used to "hate" Lebron, but not anymore. I was pissed how he left Cleveland with that stupid special on ESPN. I hated his arrogence when he was asked how many championships he would win and he said "not 1, not 2, not 3...". I hated how everyone called him the greatest, but he could not win a championship without 2 other All-Stars calibur players. But now I don't hate becuase I understand who Lebron James is. So who is Lebron James? He is the most physically talented player in the NBA. He is a nice guy, who takes very bad advice from his agent and others around him (ESPN Special, Championship win rant). He used to be very immature for the first half of his NBA career, but he was just a kid with millions of dollars with people around him kissing his ™™™ all day long. He also does not have the killer instinct or competiveness of a Jordan or Magic. Yes he is competetive, he wants to win really bad, but he is not a killer. His whole life is not basketball, he is more of a Shaq, Barkley. The reason why he is not clutch at the end of games is becuase he is not super competitive! It's the personality he was born with. It's not his fault. Congrats Lebron on winning your first championship.

Much of it stemmed from the Decision. As a big LeBron fan before that, I think most everyone agreed he could have handled that better. Prior to this year's playoffs, he also tended to come up short in big games. Of course, he's remedied all of that now, and he has his ring to show for it as well, so reality has to set in after a point. I gained more respect after seeing his playoffs performance - right now, I'd say he's the best in the league, a leader, a champion, and has disproven his harshest critics (Dan Gilbert in particular, whose claim that the Cavs would win before LeBron stands out as comedy now).
Anyway, LeBron has now made a place for his ranking in the elite - everyone expects the top players to win at least one title. To keep cementing the legend, he will have to win more. While in the realm of possibility, I am rooting for my local Thunder, who keep improving in their ascent to the best. :) Go Durant and etc.!

Durant will get his no doubt. I have a feeling he will have to wait a few more years. This is Lebrons Time. The torch has been passed from Magic to Jordan to Kobe to Lebron...Lebron will give to Durant in a few years.

Its simple
1. The Decision
2. Quote from the Dream Team
On the 1st USA team practice, MJ and Magic going against each other
MJ: "Hell no, I don't want to be on Magic's Team, I'm playing against him."
Magic: "I am still Magic Johnson, I still dominate this game."
No superstars in the NBA has this type of competitive nature except Kobe, CP3 and Rose.

LeBron is hands down the best player in the world right now, and it was only a matter of time before he got his first ring, but he will ALWAYS be the guy who abandoned his homeown team to manufacture a championship instead of staying the course like other greats did. I respect his abilities, I don't respect his motives.
