    Question for members

Hi. I am curious as to what others think of or what they would do in the following situation. I ordered a BGS graded card off of Ebay for a pretty penny and there was nothing in description about the BGS slab being damaged or anything. Well I get the card and the case is cracked and a piece is broke off at the top. I contacted the seller and he just said that I should send it to Beckett to get reslabbed or return it for refund. My main question is since the damage wasn't mentioned should I be responsible for the $20 + it will cost in shipping, insurance, and the reslab fee or should the seller be willing to refund me $20-$25 to cover these costs? What would you do in this situation. I appreciate all the information and advice I have gotten from SCF and that is why I'm asking here. Thank you

Any chance it could have been damaged during transit? Did post costs include insurance?

Either way it is the sellers responsibility to ensure goods sold on eBay get to the customer in the described condition. Trust me its annoying as a seller, but thats the way it is on eBay.
