Baseball HOF Game-Used Collection

I can finally say my baseball HOF game-used collection is done or at least completed until the next set of players are inducted. My first passion is in-person (IP) auto's. When the promoter who did shows in my area quit doing them in 2009 I turned to game-used cards. I started off on a mission to get one game-used card for every HOF'er. In midstream I decided to get a bat and jersey card of players who have both. The one or two cards I planned on getting for every player grew into a collection of close to 1,500 cards. I must have been dropped on my head quite a bit when I was a baby lol. I tried to limit collecting cards from 2000 to 2006(7) for current HOF'ers so I was not chasing every card that came out.

I've had a lot of help along the way, but I need to single out one person, Mike (antdog85). He worked with me allowing me to get a few cards each month from his collection. I should add that most of the cards I received from Mike were many of the rarer cards I have in the collection. I know numerous times I received cards from him that he could have sold at a much higher price and much sooner than I paid. I so much appreciate his time and help. I had a collection that was so-so but with all of his help it turned out to be very nice. He is not only a great collector but a great person. I wish every collector was as honest and thoughtful as him.

Thank you to all that helped me along the way and especially Mike. I'm always looking to add a card or two to the collection. I will turn my focus to collecting game-used football HOF'ers. I will attempt to get one card for each but no more than one home and one away jersey.
