    It's another bright Idea

Been looking through threads and while a few people have done it, I keep catching a few that dont.....

If your trading a lot, or selling one and it goes, delete the top thread where your listing your cards and state it's gone, rather than people having to scroll down a page.
to see that the mods can close down the thread

Better yet , we should be allowed to edit the post tittle , to say sold , or you could put updated on such and such date and then you wouldn't even need to click on it

True, that would be a good idea. It would make it a lot easier for the MODS not having to close expired threads, too.

If you've got a sale or trade thread that is done (let's say you were trying to sell a single card, and its now sold) one really easy thing you can do is 'Report The Posts'. (There is an icon with an exclamation mark, inside a red triangle below each posts. Click it).

If you report the post, it will ask you for a reason... just say something like "card sold". What reporting it does is the thread gets flagged in the moderator forum, and there is a notification to look into it. It will get noticed and closed very quickly.

I've reported mine.... few of them are still up. I know it's not easy to keep everything in track, but for the user who posted a bunch of stuff that is already gone, it bites when you find out everything is sold. Some users are awesome in making the pic as gone, or the list

30ranfordfan's suggestion of reporting the post (button) is definitely the best way of having a thread closed.

I could be wrong, but I believe you can edit the title of a thread when you edit the original post and click the "advanced" button. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I will echo what the other mods have said, reporting the post is a quick and easy way of letting us know that we can archive the thread.

Being able to edit the Title of the Thread would save a Universe of Bandwidth and posts that just end up in limbo.

I do agree though, keeping up with any list is the correct way to go. I had a poster last week who somehow sorted through one of my want lists and found only one card amongst thousands needed that I already had. He wanted to stone me. Lol
