New Card Cash system donation and how to view your transaction explained

With the upgrade we had to change the VBCedits system and installed the VBCredits II deluxe lite that is supported for VB V4.x. The old system was not supported. The donation are now tested and working well and you can view your transaction but also other transactions. VIP will get their 100 CC when their birthday come around. But for all other reason we can give CC, like when making post etc..., these still need to be configured and when this is done we will annouce what event would get you CC and how much and when. We are still learning this application and still need to configure these other events but we wanted to get the donations going so member can transfer CC to other members.

EDIT: I just added a link on the top right jsut after the PM notification link, to access your card cash transaction page and it show your balance too!

Now about past transactions. They still need to be imported into the new system not really compatible with the old one. I will do this in the coming weeks so it's normal that you do not see them until this step is done.

For all CC store tranasction, the ammout of CC remain the same feild but the transaction are still being written into the old transaction table and you will be able to see them only when I import them. I also have to make modification so that newer transaction be written into the new table so you can see them under the new Credit system. Once this modification is done, then only will I be able to import the older transactions into the new system..

Now to donate money to someone else, it really easy. Before we used to have a dollors coin icon to donote CC to someone. Now the way it work is simple:

If you already see a post of this person, click on their CC total in the post user information section and a form will appear.



So mainly when you click on someone else CC total his name will be setup into the to account and all you have to do is enter the ammount and a note then click submit or press enter and you are done. Now if you click on your CC total from a post, you can use the change link into the to account to change the usernames that will be set to your name. and then fill up the rest.

Now if you want to see your transaction, it depends where you get this window to pop up. If you click on your CC total from one of your post and then just after the initiate transfer in the header of the popup window you have a transactions link. If it cam from one of your post it will list your transaction. If it came from clicking on someone else CC total, then you will see his transactions, not yours. To see yours once on the credit page showing other transaction

The left currency box, not matter what currency transaction list you are looking at is always your total so if you click on your CC total where the arrow point:



You will see the same box and since you click on your total, now if you click on the header transactions link it will list all your transactions.

Here a example of my transaction list:



Maily If I donated money to the testing user account I see in my log Spent 0.60 Card Cash but in the testing account I would see the same date action donate but it would say earned 0.60 card cash and in note I would have Coolhandluke as the donator + the note written is a note was written.

Now remember all older logs will be imported later this week by me when I am done modifying the CC store so it start writting the trasanasction into the new table and then I will transfer all the older transaction once the CC store is not writting anymore in this old table.

All other events like posting and earning CC will also be define later this week when we have the time to finish that part. Thank you all for your patience. We are getting there slowly but surely with all side coding upgrade we need to do.

Today, 12:51 AM Adjust Earned 14,979.40 Card Cash Ajustement to match the log from the old system, not a transaction!
This is a ajustement made so that all transaction log sum match the current CC balance, this did not touch your Card Cash balance, it's it just to ajust the log file as the older version had bugs in it and was badly coded, cofigured and used. Now the new system is prefect to be able to balance everything out. Since I did many test, coding the storefront CC store, my log were really off.

Yesterday, 03:48 AM Donate Spent 740.00 Card Cash SCF Storefront: Sale of Store item ID: (9410) - 2011-12 Playoff Contenders #184 Justin DiBenedetto RC
This log as storetiem I bought to test the entry in the new system.

all older log start with this: (imported id:148241) mainly this is a refence of the old log in the old system. Since we balance all the account by ajusting it, the old log are more in case any one need to refer to it. But starting today we will be able to calculate a balance on any date and time for any member. Since the storefront is automated on bids and payment, then if something goes wrong we can find the issue.

new log will typically start like this:

Username: then any comment follow like this line:

This is not the info I got from Mike. Send a PM to our GM (patriotsguy) so he can take care of this. This is not my departement to be honest. Currently it's set to pay 100 CC to vip only.
