The Road to Finding and Creating the Perfect Product: Ripping Wax And Base

I have decided to give myself a goal after seeing the results of the last survey I put out: to create a perfect product. Design, hits and everything. I won't be printing it, but it is purely for fun and maybe if I do enough work on it someone will notice it higher up and make it printed . If you want an image of a card that I post in the future after the design, please let me know. I will be more than happy to send one over but I won't be printing them out.

This product may be for a previous year, but I am hoping to have enough pictures of rookies for a 2011/12 product.

Survey Analysis:
Type of collector
Breaking Boxes (how much you break a year, the price range, expectations etc.)
Base Set (Card amounts etc.)

Reasons why I'm asking these questions:
To judge what people like to spend their money on
To judge what style of product to create
To create value in a product
To help define a base set
To start the basis on insert sets

I will try to put out a survey a day or two for the next week and will spend the next week as well picking out a checklist for the main set. Please help me in achieving this! I will probably open up a blog specifically for this to show progress, and will update it with a link here!

I did something similar this year. I did a 132 card set based off the 1988-89 OPC design. http://jblarghcards.blogspot.ca/p/19...checklist.html It's alot of fun to do. I only needed one design so it was pretty easy after I made the template. Good Luck
