    Team USA practice

Went out for the open practice today. Current players weren't easily accessible. But there was plenty of people walking around to keep your attention. I met Coach Spoelstra, Coach John Thompson, and Coach Lenny Wilkens. All were really cool. Coach Thompson was the only one that couldn't stop for pics as he's not easy on his feet these days. Alonzo was in a good mood walking around with Ewing. Gtown Twin Towers were a popular tandem.

When i got up to Ewing, he was signing 1 per and not really looking at the person. LOL. Well, he looked at my photo and shook his head. He said, " you got me" and signed it. Then after practice, the crowd was all around the court. I snagged Candace Parker and had her personalize them to my daughter. It wouldn't be right not getting former Vols. I'm afraid that would jinx the crap out of me. Plus she's pretty good. Due to the crowds and having a 3 yr old and 7 yr old, we had to find a different location to hang out. We chose the entry point to the back. Turns out, nice spot. As Ewing is walking back, my daughter tells me she wants to get the ball signed by somebody. I was holding out for LBJ, KD, or Kobe. Oh well. Roll with it. I can get another ball for another day. So Ewing stops and takes her ball and pen. Signs it and heads into the VIP area. One of the hardest, if not the hardest, graph to obtain twice in 1 hour. Overall a great time.

Awesome job getting Ewing! Probably the success of the year there! Hopefully, this means he'd turn over a new leaf and would start signing more. I doubt it, but still keeping fingers crossed.

Nice successes! I've been to a Team USA practice too. I agree with you; you can totally load up just by graphing the people who are watching, hanging around, etc. Congrats. Love your Dream Team photo you are working on.
