2012/13 O Pee Chee
Does anyone know if the card stock for the 2012/13 O Pee Chee will be the gray card stock like in past years? I hope so, that's what i like about it, it's like the cards you knew growing up.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. They've been using it since 2007/2008. I don't see them changing it.

When I saw the base card I thought THAT was the retro version! Nice looking cards. Not super excited about the "six tiered levels" of patches. Even though they are manufactured patches three will probably be very short numbered, They will probably be numbered /1, /5, /10, /25, /50, /100. (or something like that)

I'm okay with the lack of game used in OPC, the design has been horrible in the past ie: the floating head design. They are increasing the autograph count instead I believe 3-4 per case. I think that will be better. With no Victory this year this will be there entry level product.
As for the manufactured patches, if they are anything like the patches they used in Goodwin last year they will be absolutely gorgeous. Some of these patches form Goodwin sold for huge $$$. However, the hockey collector is a different breed and doesn't like the same things that baseball guys go crazy for.
