ive posted some of my custom designed photos a few times on here, they were mostly 11x14 and 8x10. ive never designed cards before, but ive been a designer for 5 years now...mainly doing cd cover/mixtape covers and anything else associated with the music industry design world.

decided to take a stab at some custom cards for my personal use...these are the first 2 ive designed. both designs came out almost exactly as i visioned, but like i said...ive never done cards before and its a completely different ball game as far as the design goes.

I really like the basketball but not found of the Baylor cards with the signing box. I like the Baylor card with the line more. i think fading in the line area would give it a different look , or even placing the secondary color inside the line would really make it pop. you have a lot of talent

As a Baylor Bear myself, I may be a bit biased, but those are some of the nicest looking customs I've seen on this site. Love the basketball design! Sic 'em!

In particular, I love your font choices and placement. Getting the text right on a card is often the hardest part and usually the thing that tips a design toward being great. Your choices are perfect. The sig areas on the basketball cards are excellent too.

I completely agree. Excellent font selection.

My only comment would be on photo selection. The impact that the Cory Jefferson pic should have is lost because it just doesn't fit in the window left for your photo. I do however like the Brady Heslop.

Are you planning on doing card backs?

Wow seriously?? Coming from you that means something, you've been knocking out card designs for awhile now. Like I said I've been designing for awhile, but doing cards is a completely different ball game lol. Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated

Yes, that set already has a back completed, I agree with you in the Jefferson..I'm waiting until the season starts so I can grab a better photo

Just finished a new Michael Vick custom 8x10..I'll post it 2morrow or later tonight. After Vick seen my first one he wanted to me to make a new one, we had originally talked about him putting it on his site for sale, but I doubt it will happen lol.
