The Biggest Cup card already pulled?
If not "the" biggest, definitely one of the top three or four best cards from the set.
By the way (to those who don't know), almost all of the Nugent-Hopkins RC's are three-color. Being typical UD - allot of the regulars are one colour - solid white :))

Id say that any Hopkins Shield is a bigger card than a 1/1 Orr Auto. There are plenty of Orr autos out there and stamping 1/1 on a card shouldnt make it that much more valuable. In my opinion anyways.

How many Hopkins shields are there and from how many products? Thanks to Panini, they have virtually killed the once mighty shield market. Just like in the Pacific day, if you don't have an original thought of your own, simply copy the other guy and flood the market.
When Panini goes the way of Pacific, they will not be missed.

True, there are a lot of Hopkins shields, but there are a ton more Orr Autos. My point is that Orr are easy to come by nowadays. And simply stamping 1/1 shouldnt make it that much more valuable. Hopkins shields aren't easy to find

Auction says the Holy Grail of Orr Autographs.
Nope....
The 99-00 UD Ultimate Victory Legendary Fabrics with Orr & Gretzky - Double Jersey, Double Auto #/10 is the Holy Grail and it blows this card away.

Sadly, which card is what seems to be irrelevant if the market gets saturated with 1/1's etc....if the same player has a 100 1/1's...than he has no 1/1's!!...and how many rc's?? ie, in the long run, how many rc's does RNH have compared to just a few years ago, compared to Giroux? some one on here no doubt knows exactly how many RNH rc's there are...Hopefully not so many that their value will fizzle...

A great card? Sure. One of the top ones? Hmmm, interesting question. It is true that this is only the 26th Orr 1/1 Autograph to be made (and a bunch of those are from Famous Fabrics) and it will no doubt command huge dollars. But does the general saturation of the market with Orr autos in recent years hurt or help this particular autograph?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I wish it would hurt it enough to get the price down to a point where I might even be able to consider it. LOL!
Any discussion of 'best' is going to be an argument... A drop dead patch, a shield, this card, that card... everybody will make a case for what they like and that's the mark of a decent set in my book.
The bottom line is... that's a 1/1 hard-signed auto of Bobby freakin' Orr. That's a pretty derned special card in my opinion and there are more than a couple collector's out there with the wallets to make the seller feel pretty good about having busted that tin!

+1. There's enough Orr collectors who want a 1/1 auto from him, especially from The Cup. It may be the top selling non-GU card in The Cup this year aside from the Gretzky/Orr POE /5... There are some other gems that will probably outsell it, but like Fred said, it's pretty special to an Orr collector.

It's special to only a certain type of Orr collector. Vintage Orr collectors don't often get swept-up in the overpayment chaos that "The Cup" brings, this erratic overpaying is not a trait of many vintage collectors.
If they are going to pay $5,000.00 for something, it's not one Orr card like this.
