Bold prediction: People are ridiculously partisan and lack an ability to objectively look at facts and figures. I guess that's not really a prediction, I just felt like saying it.

Every time they release new numbers they are almost always readjusted the next week , Usually they go up from the prediction , but the democrats do not care cause they get a week of "so called " good numbers knowing people do not pay attention the following week for the readjustment .

So you're saying every economic indicator is fudged by the Democrats? What about when the Republicans hold the presidency? Are they fudged then? Or are the Republicans just more righteous and good than those evil Dems?
This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about, and it scares the crap out of me. Facts can't just be facts anymore. If something comes out that goes against a person's point of view, then they just assume it's a lie propagated by the other side. People no longer look at evidence to build opinions, they build their opinions first, and then just manipulate the evidence. We complain about inadequacies of our government and those who run it, but if we (as citizens) can't look at the sky and just agree that it's blue, then we're no better than they are. There's not one side that's solely responsible for our current problems, and the quicker we realize that, the quicker we can begin to fix things.
