the issue is neither side want to fix it, they want to control all, and when a mistake is made, excuses arise.
obama has failed to do what he set out to do, no matter what excuse he, you, I, or they make, he still failed.
does this mean romney would do better, no, it has nothing to do with romney.

I hope that is right, but something doesn't seem right about it. I found these points on CNBC:
The report presented a slew of contradictory data points, with the total employment level soaring despite the low net number.
The falling jobless rate had been a function as much of the continued shrinking in the labor force as it was an increase in new positions.
But the government said the total number of jobs employed surged by 873,000, the highest one-month jump in 29 years. The total of unemployed people tumbled by 456,000.
The labor force participation rate, which reflects those working as well as looking for work, edged higher to 63.6 percent but remained around 30-year lows. The total labor force grew by 418,000, possibly accounting for the relatively modest net level of job growth.
Economists were expecting 113,000 more jobs and the rate to rise to 8.2 percent. Last month saw 142,000 new jobs as the rate dropped from 8.3 percent in July.
A household survey says 873K people "found jobs" but businesses claim to have only added 114K jobs (which is below population growth).

Wantch this:
Businesses claim to have only added 114k jobs but a household survey says 873k found jobs. Obviously, businesses are lying about the amount of jobs to make Obama look bad.
See, it's possible to say anything is skewed "your" way, just by choosing which way to present it. The fact you said it one way makes it no more "a bad situation" than the way I put it is "a good situation". So I could just say you're looking at it the wrong way.

Wickabee, EVERYONE is questioning these numbers, because they don't make sense. Even the libs on MSNBC and CNBC are. This is res ipsa loquitur. The numbers are so skewed that there must be something wrong with them. Do you honestly believe, in the middle of a stagnant recovery, that we had the greatest job explosion in 30 years last month, albeit with a jobforce participation rate about as low as it's ever been? Also, the people who study this stuff say that the corporate numbers are always more reliable than the household numbers. The business job numbers come from payrolls. They aren't being fudged.Last edited by AUTaxMan; 10-05-2012 at 12:40 PM.

Where did I say that? I just gave an example of how people like to spin without actually making it spin. Of course the numbers don't add up or make sense.
My point was, when worded as you did, it looked like the government was the liar. When I worded it differently, it looks like the businesses are the liars. Just evening the field, so to speak.

I understand your point. Although I don't think anyone is spinning. They are just seeing numbers that don't make any sense and asking for an explanation.

I think you're spinning. I also think no matter what you find out, it will point to Obama being a liar, thief, cheat and possibly braindead, regardless of whatever anyone else finds out.

This has more to do with them adjusting July and August's numbers markedly up.
