Looks like he is the only one who didn't sign a regular card auto. Would have been a complete 100 card set.

Question, is there any other set like Parkhurst Champions from the past decade? I got a lot of these from eBay and the reason why I love this set is because it has a lot of retired players with their full career stats on it so I don't have to go out of my way looking for base cards to track down for them. I'm still missing the majority though and have very few players who retired before 1990 so looking for another set like this. If there's one which includes great players retired from the 90s or 00's as well then that's even better because I collect those more.
Doesn't need to have good hits or anything because I'll just be ordering the base set or a 'you pick' lot of bases. I know OPC has marquee legends but those are inserts...and I also find the OPC cards a bit boring comapred to this set. Would artifacts be the one with the most notable retired players in the base check list?Last edited by Sportfreund; 10-11-2012 at 10:49 AM.

Parkhurst did another set like this back in 06-07, 01-02 Fleer Greats of the Game, 01-02 UD NHL Legends. Try those 3 out.

Parkhurst set looks pretty meh but the Fleer Greats of the Game is good, exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

There was also a set in 2002-03 called Fleer Throwbacks which featured NHL tough guys. Pretty nice set. Only 92 cards in the base set. Also included some Autos, stick cards, and jersey inserts.
