His 14% is actually just in one year. Overall, drilling has gone up on federal lands. That's from a fact-checker on NBC though so I'm sure you'll have a problem with it and want blood samples or something.

Wasn't a site, TV. Though the only thing that matters, if true (and I figure a fact checker on a major network is pretty reliable out of necessity) is that drilling is up and Romney argued vehemently that it was down. If I remember correctly, his numbers of down 14% do accurately describe 2010, but over Obama's term it is up 8% or some such number.

i think obama won this debate, so that isn't my issue.
however, let me get this straight...when biden interrupted ryan like 80 times it was smart planning and threw off ryans game (according to nearly every website not named fox) but when romney interrupted obama it showed he lost the debate? huh?

That goes both ways, man. Bidden was smug, condiscending and rude but Romney was confident, direct and hard hitting.
Not saying you've said that, just saying as much as you don't understand it going one way, I don't understand it the other. Maybe we're both right...

First.. you've never heard this from me (you are talking to me not "everyone" lol) ... I said Biden won that debate by a landslide personally.. but he should not have interrupted as much as he did. That however was the VICE Presidential debate... when talking to the ACTUAL PRESIDENT... you are on a higher level, and should show the proper respect the office deserves. You don't have to like the man in that office.. but you need to respect the office itself.

So are you saying if Obama acted in that way it would be okay, because Romney is just a governer.
The idea of winning the debate is in my opinion mute. They were positioning themselves to reaffirm their parties, whatever stance you had before the debate will still be true after. I just wished instead of each other beating their past actions/ideas down, they would have taken this national stage to say what specific changes they hope to make in the next 4 years in office. And how they would make them. Point plans with broad ideas is not going to help the people, of course everyone wants to hear tax cuts, lower the deficit and increase jobs. But just saying that a stronger economy will do that is not enough. Whether its a top down or middle out approach, they are selling theories, I wanted to hear ideas.

Of course not to the bolded part.. he would come off as a bully if he did that just as many said Biden did... but you think it's ok for a guy to interrupt the POTUS and tell him "it's my turn to speak, you'll have your turn"? The guy was crass and rude to the POTUS.. and should be called on it.
