wickabee, i have no guy, so no way for my guy to win.
secondly they both don't know how to debate, even the basics, you wait your turn and counter, not try to over talk someone
thirdly, they both had to try and put each other down, rather than stay with the task at hand, you can prove someone wrong without the accusations or name calling
i find it is the liberals who are often party oreinated and will only vote liberal, while folks like myself could care less about your labels, we prefer results, not talk.

Shrew, I'm not going to call you a liar, but I don't believe youfor a second. I've never seen you say a good word about Obama, youcomplain about liberals, you won't admit Romney's gaffs and this defeat, but were all over calling it a win in the first one. You don't have a guy? Bull. Crap. Your decision was made long ago and you know it. Maybe you're not a Republican,as I wouldn't be a Democrat, but you made your decision and cast your vote months ago, maybe even years. I am not a Democrat, but I would be voting Obama in this election. You may not be a Republican, but you refuse to be honest about what you're saying like one, and you're going to vote for Romney. Stop telling everyone and yourself that you haven't decided. You have, and you've made it clear what that choice is.
True, but I have to say Romney was 1000x more guilty of that. The perfect example was asking a question (forget whichone) and then cutting off Obama 3 times to ask the question again while Obama was answering. Romney was much worse. If you couldn't see that, "your guy" is Romney.
Again. Romney was far worse for this. He made accusations that were very, very false and continued to make impossible claims of what he would do as President. There were parts where Romney didn't seem to know what was going on so he threw out a random barb, accusation, insult to cover it. If you didn't see that, Romney is "your guy".
BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
1 - If you seriously think liberals are more "party oriented" than conservatives...well anything I say at this point is going to be an insult, so I won't actually say it buyt you're nuts...oops,said it
2- Conservatives don't use labels now? That is a bold faced lie and you know it. You're starting to even sound like Mitt now.
3 - Is that why you're voting for a guy who says nothing and expects you to believe 2-1=10?
Face it shrew, you're lying to yourself if you seriously think Obama ever had a chance at your vote. He never did. I would guess you've voted Republican at least 90% of your voting life. I have no problem with you voting conservative. I don't even have a real problem with your lies about how them durn liberals do everything wrong and conservatives are just hard workers caught in the cross-fire. The problem I have is that you won't admit that you made up your mind long ago. That carries no respectability.Last edited by Wickabee; 10-17-2012 at 12:06 PM.

I actually agree. Romney's high point was definitely that exchange. Obasma had him pretty much everywhere else, but he soundly lost that portion to Romney.

wickabbe, the only lies are the ones you convince yourself that other are saying.
you saying i am nuts is about as legit as obama saying he is for partisanship, both of you are occluded with your own ideas and cannot see beyond them.

Then what would you call someone like me, who most people around here (myself included) would label as a liberal, but mentioned a page ago in this thread was considering voting for Gary Johnson?

No. You lie that you haven't decided yet. It's very, VERY obvious from your posts that you decided you were voting Republican a long, long time ago.
No. You say conservatives are almost perfect while all problems are the fault of liberals. If you truly believe that, you are nuts. Just stop lying and admit you're voting for Romney. Frankly, I'd bet my house you vote for Romney, and I would have made that bet months ago. You present yourself as not supporting either, but that is deceptive. You support Romney, you support the GOP and, like both those entities, you use lies to do it. Just admit it and own your position instead of trying to be something you're not so it looks to others as if a non-partisan is siding with Romney. You are not non-partisan, you have supported the Republican party as long as I've been posting here, but you refuse to admit it.
Those are the actions of a coward.

He would call you a Democrat Obama supporter. You see, only someone who says they're partisan but will vote for Romney is truly unbiased. If you decide in the voting booth to vote Obama, you were a supporter all along. If you decide months before the election to vote Republican regardless of candidate, you are truly unbiased. Shrew's definition, not mine.

For the past thirty years, debt has grown faster than GDP. We facilitated false demand by providing easy credit to consumers and they eagerly used it. The crash occurred because the consumer reached a point where they could no longer take on any more debt. The government has replaced the consumer spending by deficit spending over one trillion per year, but that which cannot go on forever, will not.
Eventually the government will reach the point where they will only be able to spend what they can collect from the citizens. When will that happen? Who knows, it's gone on much longer than I would have expected as the government has printed money to stave off the day of reckoning, but we're suffering through the consequences of massive money printing as commodity prices have skyrocketed in the midst of a recession.
I'd love to hear how this could possibly end well.

We should do a poll on who everyone thinks Jay will vote for. Maybe that will help him decide. lol
