    State Ballot Measures....

Here are the ones in Massachusetts. Now mind you this is Massachusetts so if the criminals running the state don't like the results they will not enact them.

    Question 1
    Right To Repair.

A yes vote would require automobile manufacturers to provide non-proprietary diagnostic directly to consumers and also the safety information needed to repair their cars

A No vote would make no change.

The shops already have access to this information. They just have to pay for it by buying a hand held computer that reads the computer and gives the issues.

    -------------------------

    Question #2
    Death with Dignity

A YES VOTE would enact the proposed law allowing a physician licensed in Massachusetts to prescribe medication, at the request of a terminally-ill patient meeting certain conditions, to end that person’s life.

A No Vote would make no changes.

A personal Choice issue. You would be prescribed 100 Seconal that the patient would mix with liquid and drink. Only prescribed to terminally ill patiends with 6 months to live.
    -----------------------------

    Question #3

A YES VOTE would enact the proposed law eliminating state criminal and civil penalties related to the medical use of marijuana, allowing patients meeting certain conditions to obtain marijuana produced and distributed by new state-regulated centers or, in specific hardship cases, to grow marijuana for their own use.A NO VOTE would make no change in existing laws.

Of course anyone who asks for the prescription will get one. The bill calls for 1 "compassion center" to dispense the weed.

If they are to keep it at 1 center then I am OK with it.

    My votes are as follows.
#1. No. Reasoning- My mechanic has this information only and pays for it. He provides me with superior service and his prices are very fair
#2. Yes. Watching people suffer has never been fun.
#3. Yes. Although I refuse to believe it will be limited to 1 center and anyone will be able to get a script I believe there are enough people who will benefit from this.

Your thoughts and your state's questions???

    1: No, it seems unnecessary
2: Yes. A woman from my town just won the right to assisted suicide and opened the door for the law to be changed. Ironically, she passed before she used her hard fought right.
3: Yes. As much as I think the compassion club / dispensary model is terrible, I see so much more good than bad coming from medicinal marijuana, but I'm in favour of legalized marijuana, so I would actually take it much farther.

    1. no
    2. i would have to see the fine print here. a terminally ill diagnosis is not always correct, my wife is a hospice nurse, so i know this first hand. i will also say a person with a poor end of life should be eligible if they can make that decision. also, is it just the doctors decision or what role does the patient play?
    3. yes

THis is Massachusetts. They are supposed to be binding but the criminals in the Mass Legislature can and will do what they want.

There have been Ballot Questions to eliminate the state income tax. They have failed, as they should.

But when the Legislature "temporarily" raised the Income Tax to 5.85% a few years ago, then lowered it to the current 5.35%, the binding measure on the ballot to lower it to 5% where it was passed by a wide margain. The criminals would have none of this and shot down the will of the people.

But then these are the same people who once instituted a sales tax on alcohol, which already carries a hefty excise tax so they taxed a tax.

    From ballotopedia...
the proposed measure would allow for a terminally ill patient to be given lethal drugs. A terminally ill patient would be defined as a patient being given six months or fewer to live. The patient requesting the medication must be mentally capable to make medical decisions while consulting their respective doctors. Patients would be required to submit their request orally twice and witnessed in writing, and the initial verbal request must be fifteen days prior to the written request and second oral request. The patient's terminal diagnosis and capability to make health care decisions must be confirmed by a second doctor.

The text states: "A person who substantially complies in good faith with provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be in compliance with this chapter"

The proposed act also allows blood relatives to participate in assisting the patient to sign up for the lethal dose, providing that one of the required witnesses on the lethal dose request form not be a patient’s relative by blood, marriage or adoption
