There are far worse political trolls on here other than the starter of this thread.
Why look hypothetical into the future 4 years from now? This country is worse off now than it was in 2008 and all you blind Obama followers just voted him in for another 4. Specific examples are the biggest failures of his term which everyone seems to dismiss but I will repeat once again...more people on welfare and food stamps, higher unemployment, and the new addition of a foreign policy failure which resulted in innocent deaths and cover up.
To JustAlex--just how does Republicans treat women, gays, and Hispanics? You seem to be a stickler about details...describe for me EXACTLY how the right violates their rights.

That is completely untrue. The country's economy is on the way UP. In 2008 it was GOING OVER A CLIFF. If you cannot see that then anything you have to say is tainted.

coming from a Republican, the bolded statement is completely asinine. Maybe, sadly, your life may have become worse since 2008 but the country as a whole, even with a lot more fixing still to do, is still vastly in better shape than it was in 2008 when it was in freefall and uncertainty. And as a Republican who voted against him in 2008 I did not believe he had any chance in righting the country, at least during his first term but he has already done more than I thought he could so he deserved my vote this time around after absolving my worries

Republicans will need to start backing up their words with deeds. If they want to cut spending, it gets cut across the board. This includes military spending, and tax cuts to big coporations. If they want to believe in personal freedom, leave everyone alone. You can be against gay marriage and abortion. What you can not do is tell other people what to with their life. Get back to the Republican ways Pre-Reagan. I would be very interested in hearing a candidate that went with true conservative beliefs. This means less government interference for everyone. Until, then, I side with the Democrats.

What we truly need is to go back to state rights...let the national government protect us with a beefy military but let the states decide how to run themselves...

Sorry to disappoint you but my life is fine. The economy is a major issue with both democrats and republicans..exit polling yesterday proved that. The frustration is seeded in the fact that Obama did not right this country the past 4 years. And now during his campaign still did not construct a plan for the future. This time during his speech we have to believe "the best is yet to come"?

Are you serious?
The GOP are anti-abortion, anti-contraceptives, and went against the Lilly Ledbetter Act for fair pay for women.
For Gays....I don't think I have to explain myself, they deny them their rights every day they continue with their nonsense of "traditional marriage".
For Hispanics....this one is PERSONAL, they are very anti-immigrant (most of which are Hispanics, even the LEGAL ones) and they are against the Dream Act which would help many young Hispanics stay in the country if they go to college or serve in the military.
Don't you think it's a little weird that Hispanics voted 75% for Obama????

Anti-contraception? Ledbetter is about fair pay for women? anti-immigrant?
You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. You have taken the bait hook, line and sinker. Think for yourself for a change.Last edited by AUTaxMan; 11-07-2012 at 11:47 PM.
