I personally believe that it is impossible to prevent massacres altogether...
However, we can at least try to decrease the number of casualties in these horrific incidents.
It's better than doing nothing......and we've been doing NOTHING every time this happens.

Yeah why is it that some people get all hot and bothered over what happens to israel but some guy in China kills a bunch of kids with a knife and not one peep of it? Someone can can on a warpath with a knife and kill a bunch of people just as easy as a gun. Should we ban all knives?Drug and smoke free trading.

What makes the police different is the level of power those at the top have. What I want to see is better trained police. Police who dont line up four wide and simultaniously taxes someone. I want police that have the ability to distrust me without letting me know. I hate being approached as a criminal until I prove otherwise. And if they're going to treat me that way, what's wrong with me distrusting them until they prove themselves? I don't have the power to arrest them or legally harass them they way they can me. I do my best to not show my distrust, which is a courtesy I do not get in return. I have no record, and I freely admit to meeting good cops out there. Heck, one of my best friends is an RCMP officer. I do not hate cops. What I hate is that I'm supposed to just trust them despite what they're capable of and what choice many of them make while they are perfectly well off treating me like a criminal off the bat.

Sorry, I didn't mean to.
Yes, that's the key here....he had much more time.
From what I heard none of those kids died....here I have a news link:
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headline...-knife-attack/
^after all, it's a LOT harder to KILL people with a knife than simply pulling a trigger.

I 100% understand what you're getting at here!!!
Police and government would love to disarm the populus. It gives them total control and leaves the citizens to rely on them for help.
