Walmart searched/resealed Blaster boxes
So I picked up a 12/13 UD S1 blaster the other day to open today since they were on sale at Walmart for $15.
As I was unwrapping the box, it quickly dawned on me that the clear wrapper had no UD logos on it, which is a definite sign it's already been searched through. Opened 1 pack, 4 base cards in it and then closely inspected the outside of the rest of the packs and they've clearly been opened and resealed. Considering the best hits out of these blasters are Canvas YG, people really go through a lot of effort to cheat the customers out of hits for very minimal return.
Anyway, I know this has happened to others in the past at Walmart and was just wondering how their next step with it went... ie. getting a refund from walmart CS for it or getting a switch with a box that still has the UD logo on it.
edit: n/m, can't find the receipt in the garbage, looks like I'm screwed... Let it be a reminder to look for the UD logos if you check out the Boxing day sales.Last edited by Fleury14; 12-25-2012 at 11:30 AM.

sad new on Christmas! But yeah, I work at a target and would never buy packs/boxes from work even though I get a discount. I've seen so many people pack searching, and there are countless amounts of "returns"
Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

This drives me crazy at my local Target to the point where I won't either even though I'm still tempted. Can't these people be punished? Shame on the card companies for not pack-search proofing their products. This should not continue to happen year after year.

I recently bought a box that turned out to be searched and resealed. Link: https://www.sportscardforum.com/threa...-Searcher-Rant
My culprit didn't even try to hide the fact that he opened the packs, using Express Mail stickers to reseal them. I returned the next day and got my money back. The cashier did make concerted effort to get me to exchange the box for another rather than take my money. However, this box was so bad, I didn't trust any of the others.
It's a shame because this is the store where I pulled a Ronnie Lott Jersey/Auto #'d to 25. But the way the store manager and cashier reacted it seemed like they had seen this many times before. Can't trust the boxes in that store.Hidden Content

I've heard Wal Mart won't even go after people who steal something under $10 because it costs too much in court. So in theory they wouldn't stop anybody stealing $10 or under at a time.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

yeah it sucks because retail is all i can really buy. i have gotten lucky with some hits on individual packs but not much with blasters i think all blaster and things should if they dont already and i think most to come with wraping around them that have the holigram logo of the company as well as boxes should come this way. that wy you can tell if someone tampered with it and know to stear away from it.
