Too many people have died in the World because of religion. You've never seen an army of Atheists or Agnostics go to war, they abide by laws, keep their noses clean, and are not plussed or influenced by imaginary friends.

You stand before your peers in a Police Station or in a Court of Law, or in front of christians and say;

"God Told Me"

That is accepted. Lol


You stand in front of the same group and say "The Voices Inside My Head Told Me"

Athiests are fighting to have every mention of religion or god taken out of public view not because we are influenced by it but because we are tired of others trying to push their beliefs on us. That something bad in the 'afterlife' will happen if we do not believe in some figure we've never met or talked to

And you don't think that trying to remove everything is pushing your (non) belief on everyone? It's at the point where atheists can't even admit the Ten Commandments have just as much to do with Man's history of law as they do the bible. But atheists need them taken down, therefor pushing their (non) belief on everyone else.
