Start a player PC now, or wait till draft?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of starting a player PC of a current or future Orlando Magic player. Do you think I should wait and see who Orlando picks up in the draft? It looks as though it'll be a high draft pick. Of the current players, Andrew Nicholson stands out to me the most.

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions!

Start one now, you can do both. If you want to collect without spending a lot of money Nicholson is the way to go. If money isn't a factor, wait.

Yeahs start picking up guys now that are there and you can grab the guys they draft later

IMO cards are going to significantly dip after the season, as they always do... Also is there a college player at the moment that is worth collecting that might go to the magic??? Best bet Nicholson you will be able to collect huge hits at cheap prices after the seasons when all the hoopla is over...

Thanks guys. That's one option. A bit costly, but I like the idea.

Another good idea. I agree that cards should lose some value come the off season...Marcus Smart is predicted to go to Orlando with pick 2, that's if the Magic end up with pick 2. I like the look of him too. So maybe I wait till the off season and even till the draft lottery?

Anyone think Dequan Jones will be able to hold a spot on the roster? I like the way he plays but am unsure of his job security.

Nicholson would be a great you guy to start if on a budget. You can get multiple nice autos without breaking the bank.

Agreed. Especially in the off season.

Might go after Nicholson then and maybe change up or add a player once the draft comes around.

If I were you I'd start now...this years draft crop is pretty weak, Smart seems like he will be in Orlando if he declares, but will be overpriced picked that high and I honestly don't think he's going to be that great.

I like Nicholson, but I'd personally go Tobias Harris or Harkless (still only 19! first player since Carmelo to average 15 and 8 as a freshman in the big east last year- i love the kid). I think they have more upside to become potential stars than Nicholson does. I think Nicholson will be a useful role player for many years, but those other guys have some sweet upside and aren't demanding much money for their cards either

I say jump on in right now. I think Harkless has some potential.
