    Is it just me...?

Maybe I'm nuts or OCD, but when I'm browsing cards on eBay or whatever, I never want to buy graded cards unless they're a perfect 10/10. Even if it's a 9.5, it drives me nuts! Generally speaking, I avoid graded cards altogether. I'd rather just have a mint card (to the naked eye), put it in the protector and in my mind I'm happy. Am I crazy??

Before it was almost impossible to get a BGS 10. Now it is easier but still more difficult. But with graded cards you should always buy the card and not the grade. I've seen PSA 9s that looked better than PSA 10s.

I don't buy a bunch of graded cards unless I get an unbelievable deal. I am old school and prefer to look at my cards in albums. That being said if the cards is at least 8.5 and it is a pretty sweet deal I would consider. However you are within your right to only collect graded 10 cards if that is your personal preference.

I am with you. If I had graded cards, I know that I would go nuts worrying about them. I would rather just have a card that is "mint" in my mind sitting in an album, that I can look at when the game is on, or I need to reference some stat. I feel like the only graded cards I would ever pursue are the rookies from my main player collections, but that is after the house is payed for, the car is payed for, and I know I am financially set. Untill then, this is just a for fun hobby.
