    2013 NBA Draft

With the first weekend of the tournament over we've all gotten a chance to see the best players on college's biggest stage now. Thought it would be fun to start some discussion on the NBA draft. Best players, who's picking who, who do you want on your team etc...

As a Thunder fan I'm not sure what we are going to do. We have some nice picks (10ish from the Harden trade via Toronto, 28-30 for our own pick, and then 1st pick of the 2nd round #31 overall via the Bobcats). Everyone is saying we need a big with that early pick, but I'm really intrigued by Trey Burke. Seems like he's a lock to be a very solid NBA player. Would be a great backup PG when Russ sits, and could definitely PG and have Russ play some off guard. I think he's a sure thing as a 20-25 minute per night guard off the bench that could develop into a starter with a team that needs one. Would also love to see us get Withey with one of those later picks. I don't know if he'll fall that far with the great tournament he's been having, but he's another guy that just seems like a really solid player without much downside.

What would you like to see your team do?

I live in Atlanta and follow the hawks. Depending on what happens in free agency they will have a lot of holes to fill. They seem set at PG with Teauge and PF with Horford (I think he would be better suited at the 4 instead of the 5) but other than that it's anyone's guess. I think they should go with the proverbial best available athlete. Barring anything unforseen they will have two 1st round picks and should be able to grab a couple of good young prospects.

Ya they should have those two mid first round picks...should get some nice potential there. Will be interesting to see how far Shabazz falls with the less than stellar season and all of the character concerns and age issue now. He could be a nice fit in ATL as a scoring option

I would love to see Bazz in the Atl but I doubt that will happen unless there is some type of blockbuster S&T involving J-Smooth.

We'll see. I could see them moving Smith, or trading both picks to move up and get a guy like Bazz.
