NBA rigged?
Take a look at this article and video that's going viral:
http://www.manolith.com/2013/04/02/h...-lakers-video/
I have been a firm believer for a number of years that of the four major North American leagues, the NBA is by far the most corrupt in terms of officiating. Basketball refs have a bigger influence on the outcome of games more so than any other sport, could they be working to get the Lakers into the playoffs?

I don't know if it is rigged or not but the NBA desperately wants the Lakers in the playoffs since they bring in the ratings. They would much rather have them be the 8th seed and talked about instead of the Jazz who would garner no media attention.

I'm a Laker fan myself and I find myself in agreement to the video posted above.

That video confirms what is already known. They have had a ref that was sentenced to prison time for fixing games and I have a feeling that he hasn't been the only one. Look at the preferential treatment that Kobe and Lebron get EVERY game, it's sickening. Not just the individuals, but like your video shows, teams in general seem to get calls when they're the "annointed" team for the year. For this reason (and the Pistons trading Billups for Iverson), I no longer watch the NBA. To me, it's as real as wrestling.

If the league is anything, it's blatently two-faced. That makes it appear to be rigged. It protects it's most valuables and they really can do no wrong. Anyone have the bs excuse Stern used to fine the Spurs? Something like.......only trip to Miami....cheating the fans.....blah blah. Heat do it and not a peep from him. That retaliation was as clear as a Mutombo elbow..... Heat left them in the locker room so the fans couldn't even see them lol

The vintage "Blacksox" scandal in MLB, the Pete Rose betting Scandal, and how many NFL ref's have been in question? the NBA is no different. Anyone remember the "Jordan Rules" ???

I am in no way a laker fan, but I think the video is kind if silly. Refs miss calls and make crappy calls all the time. You could make a video like that for any team in the league if you put them under a microscope.
The NBA obviously wants them in the playoffs but I just dont think they are telling the refs anything... Because if that got out it would be too detrimental to the league.
