Kentucky county removing Ten Commandments from schools
They should have never been up in the first place. Public schools are not churches and churches are not public schools. How is this such a difficult concept to grasp?

8 out of the 10 commandments can be broken by anyone in this country and nothing would happen to them.
Wait, what exactly is the reason for these statues at schools?

The commandments from the Egyptian Book of the Dead predates the bible by thousands of years. Would you have a problem with them being placed in the schools instead of the 10 commandments? Why or why not?

Ok, cool.
I want the Satanic 11 commandments (AKA as the eleven rules of earth) on my old high school....I'm sure you won't have any problems with that, right?
BTW, The satanic 11 commandments are infinitely better than the other 10 commandments.....they make sense too.

veggie, maybe the earliest known copy does, but it does not mean it predates it.
why get rid of one, instead, how about both?
again, you guys love the supreme court, look into schempp v abington, religion can be taught about in schools

I have no problem with different religions being taught by the school as a theory in an objective and non biased manner but I do have a problem with the schools implied endorsement of christanity by placing the ten commandments for everyone to see.

Have those sets of commandments had the same far reaching influence of the ten commandments?
No. Try again.
(that said, I have no problem with the idea of something else over the ten commandments, but find something more historical than them.)
