no matter if you despise them out not, that's not a valid reason to make the have more extreme focus by the IRS. Glag you recognized the problem with them targeting groups based off of political stances.

WOW Obama doesn't control the IRS. Can you please just call Obama INEPT, because thats what he is. Its chicago style politics and a culture of his making and choosing. In his mind if you are a democrat and a activist and attack dog against republican walking then its somehow OK. This is the true issue. Obama creating this culture and acting in a inept manner. A manner in which he continues to act in his response by saying "if" they did it, while they have admitted it. By saying the IRS commissioner had been fired when he has come out saying he was resigning in june and nothing has changed.

And this is not about audits Alex, this is about harassment by the IRS to prevent a group of people from filing the necessary papers to form a corporation. Investigating things they are prohibited from doing like asking who donated to them, how much they donated, names and lists etc, not about an audit. I feel if a corp., claims tax exempt status yet uses funds for political activities they should get an audit occasionally.
This scandal, however, is not about audits but others powers the IRS used that it was in the wrong for. If the democrats try and fight to hard on this Im sure a trail will lead straight to the white house. In other words, I don't believe Obama is dumb at all and will not walk into a gun fight with a knife such as you are claiming no remorse no sympathy. Apples and oranges.

do you honestly think that Obama ordered this action by the IRS? I highly doubt that the president has a lot of influence over government agencies like the IRS.

Weird how Bush controlled absolutely nothing for 8 years and suddenly the guy who took over runs everything.
Unless I listen to the liberal side, then it's the other way around.
So, my question is...
Does anyone actually know what actual power the President has? I can't imagine it's dependant on party like everyone here says...

Let me reiterate myself....
I feel no mercy or sympathy for a DANGEROUS and RADICAL group such as the Tea Party.
And the fact that now the DISGUSTING GOP are acting as if this is some huge conspiracy and violation of government when BUSH was doing the same thing is just another great example of their huge hypocrisy and illegitimacy as a credible political party.
