Help! Is my Cup ARP /99 Repatched?
With a recent thread about another repatched Cup ARP I got curious if my Pogge Cup ARP that I purchased in the fall was repatched so I checked out mwdonald's Cup Archive and he labelled mine as "Possibly"!? Well now I need to know if this is so.
Here's a bunch of photos at different angles, let me know if we need better or different photos.. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

In my opinion, the patch does look a bit off. You don't see many maple leafs patches like the one you have. The blue just looks off to me

No you don't. When I bought it, my thoughts were that it was an obscure rookie photo shoot patch... I may have been wrong. But does there doesn't seem to have any tampering marks along the edges of the patch window.

I think the majority of repatched cards that hit the market after their surgery are in the same condition as their pre op state. There are some very good crooks out there

See that's funny, I didn't think anything of the color. It seemed like a pretty simple patch on a card that I don't think many people would be quick to repatch. If someone faked that patch they're very smart because that patch wouldn't give that much of a premium over a solid white patch.

One of the biggest reasons that card is labeled "possibly repatched" is because of who the seller was on ebay. This card was first sold by a seller that is notorious for selling repatched Cup RCs. At any given time, around half of his Cup RCs listed are repatched.

If you look closely at some of the Leafs' letters in the logo, you can see some edges are slightly slanted like the patch in the picture. http://www.sportslogos.net/logos/vie...3/Primary_Logo
Not sure if that matches up perfectly, but its possible.
The colour isn't much of a concern, it looks ok to me, anything off could just be the lighting in the photo.
No visible damage to the face of the card, which is a very good sign.
The seller's history is a big concern though, that's what I would look out for.

not that this is the determining factor, but someone else already thought that it might be a fake. I agree with everyone else though, the seller is the factor that would scare me most

Yes the cup archive is what spooked me at first. It's in the collection for good so I'm not going to be reselling it and if it is repatched at least it's not a Crosby or Stamkos /99.
