I wrote about the price surge of his rookie exquisite in the last month, spectacular to say the least:

Great article!
I'm a huge Curry collector (nearing 100 auto's).
During his playoff run all of his cards caught fire. I've been collecting him since his rookie year so I've been able to build my PC on the cheap (relatively speaking). With the recent surge in prices I sold 12 of my lower end auto's and made a killing which enabled me to purchase a few higher ends cards at, what I consider, reasonable prices.
I'm not in the card collecting world to make a profit but it sure does feel nice!
Recently though, I am noticing a drop in prices as he and the Warriors have faded from collector's mind's.
I totally agree with your pro/con list and his health by far the biggest concern. If he can overcome the ankle issues he's definitely a star (potentially top 10 in the NBA).
Again, great piece.

Thanks!
I'm somewhat doing the same as you for Harden's, I would think the same happens with him as his team improves.
Paul George is another player that's shining.

I PC a few guys. Kobe Primarily, Stephen Curry secondary. I got back into collecting last June. I started picking up Currys stuff in December of 2012. I was able to get 15 of his autos until I noticed his cards selling for HBV+. Just like Kolby, I am not into collecting to make money but I sold 8 of his autos. All for over BV and all at least 1.5x what I paid for them. I kept the five that I wanted to keep(crown Rc, R&S rc, Contenders Rc, Steph/Dell Curry Elite Passing the TOrch Dual, and the Select jersey auto. It allowed me to add several decent ($100+) Kobe inserts.

What do people think about his price peak? Did he reach it already? I would say pretty close....

Still might have room to increase if he makes the playoffs annually. Even a 10% increase per year would add up.

Perhaps but I don't know if GS can be a second round or better team each year.

I think we may very well have seen his market price peak.
There are a few things that could cause the value of his cards to further increasethough , ie: all-star game appearance, all-NBA team, deeper run into the finals, etc.
GS has some passionate fans and he's an extremely likable person (in my opinion) so I wouldn't be surprised if values continued to climb.

He used to be one of my favorite players. i pced him for awhile but after injuries i sold a lot fearing his career wouldn't go so well. so i sold them with the mind set "ill buy em back when he's dirt cheap"........I waited a lil to long lol

I also think that the flashes of greatness shown by Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes during these playoffs might hurt Curry's value. Those 2 guys were rookie and sophomore this year and will probably improve next year, taking away at least some scoring and attention from Curry imo.
