Iowa Collector
Hello, my name is John, I'm from Northern Iowa. 26 years old and been collecting since i was in 1rst grade. I mainly just collect football, but do buy some racing as well(Mainly so i have something for drivers to sign when i go to a race). I am a miami dolphins fans so naturally Dan Marino is the star of my collection. I'll collect what ever i can get my hands on but primarily stick to mid-lower level stuff. I have a closet full of doubles and cards from other sports that i would love to trade off. Basically if i don't have a card i want it, i prefer jersey, auto, rookie, parralells, #'d and such but, but commons dont bother me one bit. I also try to collect former Iowa Hawkeyes, and Northern Iowa Panthers players. I don't collect other sports but i am a Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Wild fan as well, and collect Nascar diecast.

My wife would say you're doing better than I am! I've worked card shops all my life, and I have been concentrating on JUST Marino pretty much since 2005, so everything I ever owned has pretty much been flipped into Marino stuff. My "Showoff thread" is to help fellow Marino collectors out. When I started chasing, I would DIE if I could have to found images of the stuff I didnt have so I could decide where to spend my money. Of course it snowballed from 900 different to 3300 different in a blink it seems so the "Not haves" became the "Now Haves" and I can help other Marino peeps out!

Welcome to the site, enjoy it. One of the best. What types of Diecast do you collect? Low end stuff or the higher priced stuff? Got some I've been trying to move since I lost interest.
