Also, let's not forget that the spurs have taken 34 or something more free throws in the series. In addition, there's splitter's moving screen on ray allen that people could have missed. My point being, there are a ton of missed calls in this series and that people are getting angry over one no-call doesn't seem too logical.
The Manu play was extremely difficult to officiate, and it doesn't prove that the refs are in favor of miami. And, Rob Mahoney even writes that it was one of the most difficult plays to officiate, as he is surrounded by miami defenders from almost every angle, and he hunches over to protect the ball. It's even hard to tell at full speed live, and that's with an obove-court camera.

If that was the most important line to you, you should read it correctly. The I'm torn part clearly indicates that I would not care if it was called a foul or not given the situation. That was why prior to that statement you read (or maybe didn't) "Whether or not you call it". Use the whole statement because taken out of context it could mean anything. Unless that's what you wanted just to find some wrinkle in what I said.
I said if he traveled, it would have been fair too. Meaning if they chose to call the travel that would have been a fair call too. But please don't recite rules, especially the travel, while defending the Heat. Everyone knows what a travel is. We also know what a NBA travel is which is a liberal interpretation of your 2 step rule. Tell me I'm wrong.
And put the FT disparity away. You had every Heat fan begging Lebron to attack the basket and stop taking jumpers. Need proof?
And you're right Manu was the Heat's MVP. He basically handed over the last two games. He didn't have it most of the series and for some reason stayed in games regardless. Just add it to the "Series of Unfortunate Events". Co-Starring D Rose, Luol Deng, Danny Granger, Tony Parker's hamstring and a missed FT.Last edited by cgb_orl; 06-23-2013 at 10:02 AM.

I completely agree I before mentioned all the mistakes the Spurs made but even after all that they had a chance to win and it was taken away from them. That's the sad part. I guess players should settle for jumpers if refs can't make simple calls.

Simple calls? That is an extremely difficult call from where the ref was positioned and how clogged the lane is. In fast motion it looks like a clean play and manu fumbled the ball to Allen. We get to see all the slowed down replays. Refs don't. Give me a break bud

With three of the best refs the NBA has its pretty sad the call was missed. This was just one of the fouls at the end that couple have been called. I watched it live and looked like a foul to me. Like I said before the Spurs had chance to win If they made more free throws, took care of the ball better, and boxed out better. I just didnt want to see a pivotal game messed up by the refs.

Yeah, I hate it when refs miss free throws late in games too.

LOL. Really??? No one has said the Spurs didnt make mistakes...I mentioned that in my last post. It's clear you're a Heat fan so your obviously biased. I just hate it when refs help decide the income in any sport. Just taints the accomplishments.

So let's change this a little bit...For the Heat, who were the pivotal players in the series? So if you were going to put a nice collection of cards together of the players that the Heat needed in order to win the series, Who would those players be and why (what was their contribution that the Heat couldn't have done without)?
Example:
Shane Battier...game 7 3 pointers, he stepped up big in the deciding game
Ray Allen...Game 6 3 pointer at the end of Reg.
Lebron...MVP
???
Who else? Do you put Birdman in the collection? What did he do?
...and no voting for the refs!! lol
