Bettman has no say. Why would you assume that? I just made a blanket statement. Lay off

Meh, there was no real standouts this year, it certainly won't go down in history as a dominant playoff + Conn Smythe-winning performance, but someone had to win it. In the end, Kane had some big moments at more critical stages and led the way in point totals, so I thought he was the fair choice.

I would never ever say Kane didn't deserve it.
I think Crawford and Sharp may have deserved it more....but I wouldn't say Kane didn't deserve it.
He's a magnificent player, and I think he proved it.

So ... in your title you complain about how a trophy was awarded to the wrong player ( and god forbid ANYONE in the world have a different opinion than you ). Then, all you write down in your post is about how "Bettman is an arse". I suppose it is hard to see where assumptions are being made .... =S .... I suppose the simple things confuse the simple minded.
Lay off? The all knowing, "if it isnt what I think, it isnt right" member on the SCF cant take a comment?

Just stop stalking me and arguing with me. That's all you do is wait for me to comment, then jump all over it. You knew exactly what I meant with the Bettman comment, but you just could not let it ride.

Choosing Kane was the simple choice rather than the voters having to put some thought into it. Sure he had some good games during the playoffs but he disappeared in far more games then he showed up. The voters simply looked at the stats on Chicago and picked the guy at the top. Had they given it some thought or seen every series that Chicago played in this playoff year then someone like Sharp may have won it.
