Tim Hardaway Sr in Support of Gay Marriage

I added the Sr to the header so he wouldn't be confused with Tim Hardaway Jr who was the first round draft pic of the Knicks and wasn't a reach IMO.

I heard this the other day and was shocked after his comments so many years ago that he hated gay people. Glad he's grown as a person from that.

Tim Hardaway is one of my ALL TIME favorite Heat players.

I still remember his killer crossover and I'll never forget all the great memories he made in the late 90s and early 2000s.

As a person, I was very saddened when he said those very hurtful comments many years ago, I was very shocked to say the least.

To hear that he is now in support of gay marriage shows that people can change their minds and progress for equality.

Hopefully he did change but he also could be appealing to the media because of the spotlight he and his son are in now.

I don't really think this has anything to do with his son. Hardaway Jr is the one now in the NBA not the old man.
