This does bring up the one issue I can see.
With the BVs posted for free all the time.... if I've got a $10 card that sells (normally) for $2, I could list it for $3, and accept a lower offer (like the normal sell price of $2) and to less astute buyers, that card would appear to be listed at 70% off the value, and I accepted a price that was 80% off. May have been very useful if you choose to go the Amazon route.
I'll reiterate what I said earlier though. To me, those BVs mean nothing. It has become very obvious that Beckett does little, if any, real market research. They have a forumula that sets values for cards, and that's it. This isn't an eBay vs BV gripe.... it's the truth. We're dealing in cardboard picture of hockey men here. It's a comodity that holds no real value outside "the hobby". Someone wants to deal with me using BVs?? I'm almost always more than willing to do that, if they want to do the work (I don't have a copy of the magazine, and I wouldn't spend $1 to get a subscription to the OPG). Chance are that if a deal comes along (trading) that BVs say is fair, my perception of value will be fair too.
Sending cards there (COMC) myself, I'll price things at what I think is fair. If that means I take less than I could have gotten on some of those cards, so be it. I'll be listing prices that I'm happy with (should I make the sale) and I assume any buyer that grabs them is too. Win-Win.

Price of the card. That is the #1 factor in my decision. If I want to get a real sense of the value I check other site (eBay, sportslots, etc...) for actual sale prices. This change won't reduce my buying on COMC

now they have added a option that lets you see selling history of the cards - shows highest price and number of sold I believe - im my opinion this has more value to it than BV does as it shows actual sale price - basically a completed listing option

I have seen a lot of cool stuff on COMC, but never a good enough deal to pull the trigger.

Maybe I'm just a dummy, but where do you find that option?
