The evidence was not overwhelming and thus the jury had no choice but to give a not guilty verdict.
End of story.
What I personally think happened on that night really doesn't matter.
We really ought to stop discussing this case, because it is just too emotional.

Thank you and goodnight. Why everyone is mad at the jury is completely beyond me. The prosecution was watching TV instead of building a case.
