Again.... Re the slabbed card on the previous pages 59-61

Somebody offers a tip, and just because they are new on here, people jump down this guys throat and protect the seller, whom they don't know.

If somebody offers me such advice, I simply store it in the achives. Stop with the drama toward this poor newbie, thank him and move the hell on.

We kindly asked for proof, and he started insulting everyone. Has nothing to do with being new, it's more an issue of someone posting a rant about a seller and then not backing it up with anything tangible.

If everyone were to "simply store it in the archives", that potentially innocent seller could be losing all kinds of customers.

On eBay is there a way to offer two shipping options to US and International: A cheaper PWE for the cost of stamps and the more expensive bubble mailers?

The only thing I can think of is setting the price to the cheap shipping and mentioning this option in the ad and telling buyers to message me for a bubble mailer invoice that is more expensive.

Has anyone done this another way?

Not so much an issue but a "wow that's never happened before." Saw a nice card I wanted that was just listed with a very nice BIN price. Thought about it for two seconds, decided to click the BIN. Nope. Somebody beat me to it. First time I've ever had that happen. Good on the fella that just grabbed a Roy/Price/Fucale GU for $20 shipped.

What is a reasonable amount of time i should wait for a card to be shipped to me before I move forward with getting my money back? i bought a card on Canada day weekend and the seller tells me he shipped it out on july 2nd and I still haven't gotten my card, which is really strange because the card is being shipped from within the same province.

u should be concerned now,specially if ur not hearing back from the seller,if u didnt get it by friday july.19 file a claim,gd luck

My first bunch of auctions in a loooooonnnnng time just ended. I've been a lucky guy over the years, only a handful of horror stories. But these are new and exciting times we live in my friends!!! And this is minor, to say the least..........

I get this message AFTER the auction is over, the guy's only had, ya know, the last SEVEN days to ask.......

"HI.Did this card come from a pack or did you have it signed.if it the later i don't want it.Yor title is very confusing becase aren't all cards hand signed?

"Really? THAT'S what you're going with? And you wait until the very end to tell me that you don't want the card.
No, it did not come from a pack. My auctions are listed as "auto" for pack-signed cards and "signed" for signed-after-the-fact cards. You seem to be the only guy out there who didn't grok on to that fact.
If you don't want the card that's fine, but I'll be filing with eBay to get my sellers fees back."

"Do you have a certificate of authenticity?"




To which I reply..........

"Bahahahahaaa!! No. COA's aren't worth the paper they're printed on, and Henri Richard isn't in the TTM COA business. My man, you have a HUGE feedback score, you've obviously been playing with hockey cards for a long time......no offense, but if you're gonna make a stink about an $8 card, just take the NPB hit and carry on with life eh?

Like I said, no big deal, but...........wow.

I get this situation a lot. I end up just canceling the transaction. You get your fees back and you don't have to wait to relist the item. Up to you though. Also if you wait you run the risk of them leaving you a negative. And no eBay won't remove it. Trust me.

I'm not sure if this is against the rules or not but I feel the need to vent! I was watching this listing yesterday and didn' win the auction.

I found this listing for the same card and thought the seller's price was ridiculous so I made an offer of basically the same as the other one ended for $43 (I don't know what the shipping charges would be so it's a few bucks lower).

Response: declined. Message attached: "Is that all its worth I think I'm gonna throw it in the garbage thanks for the low ball offer."

I decided to make another offer of $45. Granted it's not much more than the last offer but it bugs me when people don't send counter offers... I include this message: "Basically the same price as the last one sold for. No one is going to pay $500 for it that's for sure! Good luck selling it. Keep your head in the clouds."

A bit of a snaughty message but I don't think the response I got was warranted at all. Anyways,

So i decide to make a final offer anyways because I wanted the card. $50 offer. But as I hit enter I get a message that says the seller is no longer accepting offers from me and he/she doesn't accept questions or messages from other members. LMAO!
