Maybe. Are the increasing harder penalties for drunk driving reasonable? I find it funny that the person who had the best possible case for self defense got put in jail of the 3 scenarios.
20 years might be too much but she should have gotten some time.Last edited by drtom2005; 07-25-2013 at 11:35 PM.

Well it's not much of a definition when it begins with "in some cases".

I told you. I think the definition should be more strict. I don't agree with all of these strange and newfound ideas like you don't have to retreat. It sets up situations like the 3 scenarios above.

Why does that matter? People who say this are hiding behind the law.

This is rather off topic, but if some of you haven't/don't watch Dr. Drew on HLN during the weekdays at 9 PM EST, I'd suggest just checking it out, especially veggie. There is this one women who has been on during the Zimmerman/Martin trial talk, but she's also talked about other cases such as the one the OP posted, and her name is Shahrazad Ali. It's actually uncanny how her and veggie seem to act almost completely the same way. I think it'd be eye opening to see what someone with (just a little) influence in the media can cause.
You all could also google her name, and probably find out the same info, or I could tell you all, but that's not as fun.Last edited by gladdyontherise; 07-26-2013 at 09:13 PM.

What about a living human's right to live? So you think all of the above situations could not have been avoided with rational and responsible thinking?
