Open two boxes and got 32 Retro RC from a box, 2 black rainbow /100, 1 auto and out of four rings I pulled my Carey Price and also pulled the Gallager Retro RC for the PC as well, so happy of my boxes.

Making the totals:
Black Rainbow Rookies - 161
Gold Rainbow Rookies - 151
Rainbow - 775
Black Rainbow /100 - 843
Rookie Retro - 819
There is absolutely no way I should have wound up with about 1.5% of the print run of the black rainbow sets. I refuse to believe the total print run is only 600 or so cases. Somewhere people are getting shorted. The next question is how bad the actual collation is. I feel like I just kept seeing the same patterns of players over and over again, especially on the retro side.

How many short of the black rainbow set are you? Hopefully it's less than 100. Same goes for the rainbow and retro cards.

No clue until the sorting starts...Just breaking and sorting into the different sets took way longer than I anticipated. Plus life interferes with countless hours of busting cards sometimes...
I'm likely going to check the rings and retro sets first. Then I'll take a quick look at my black rainbows while someone else starts sorting the 25k+ base.

Thats one ridiculous amount of base. I don't even know how I would go about sorting that. Building sets one by one until all I have left are doubles or maybe by team with each one getting a 3000 ct monster box? I'm curious to see what autos, glossys and Patches you got from the break.

How do people feel about these hot cases w/ poor collation? Do you like having hot cases or would you rather have an even keel, evenly collated release?
