Well, they are the homeless, not the electricyless or heatingless or cableless or telephoneless or internetless or waterless or...

    So, yeah.

So you think we owe them all of that stuff for free? Or do you see a run-down, dilapidated house with no heat, electricity, water, sewage, etc. as good enough?

To fix the HOMEless problem, yes it is. I never said we owed them anything free, but when people are living without shelter and banks are overrun with homes they do not want, something is seriously wrong.

Of course, if cost is your only concern with everything, I can see how one would be offended at the mere idea.

Grade school insults say more about the one speaking than anyone else, especially when generalizations are applied.

    Cute picture though!

If you are using Wikipedia as your source of accuracy then you are in worse shape than I thought. For point of reference, Carter actually negotiated the release of the hostages, but the Iranians refused to follow through with the release agreement until they realized that Reagan was taking office and had already stated that he would use forcible action to get them freed after he took office. Carter's role in the negotiation was recognized by Reagan when he invited Carter to come with him to Germany to greet the newly released hostages.

Oh, and NOWHERE in what you quoted does it say that Reagan timed their release to happen after he took office...

    Is this a conservative thing?

That Wikipedia is some kind of inaccurate source that NEVER tells the truth?

Let me explain....wikipedia is a referencing website.

Which means that they are NOT the original source in the information they contain.

To properly use wikipedia, one has to follow the references it contains.

It seems to me that conservatives love to bash wikipedia because it brings a lot of information to the table which they for some odd reason consider liberal or left leaning.

This is probably why they invented "Conservapedia".

I'm not even joking about that....http://conservapedia.com/Main_Page

^That thing is a HUGE joke, especially the christian pages.

    That's why I said it was a hell of a co-incidence.

The points were sourced from the NY Times, Newsweek, PBS Frontline and various books, and the Lyndon Larouche Report, to be fair.

And who was illegally arming Iran a few years later against the Iraqis? And taking that money to fund a war in Central America?

    There are NO saints, sorrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
