First Career Goal off First Career Shot. How many have done it?

Watching the Oilers game last night, Luke Gazdic was not who I expected to see opening the scoring for them, but then it got me wondering..... how many other players have scored their first NHL goal on their first NHL shot (heck, I think that was also his first NHL shift).

Mario Lemieux, quite famously, did it. The other two names I could find were Luca Caputi and Neal Coulter (who actually scored on each of his first three shots).

    Anyone else?

Jonathan Huberdeau scored on the first shot (and second shift) of his NHL career.

Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Tarasenko both scored on the first and second shots of their respective NHL careers.

And as RGM81 said, Pacioretty scored on the first shot of his NHL career.

Never would have guessed that one! He also scored on his last shift in his last NHL game as well.

Yep, looks like he had a shot blocked about 5 minutes before he scored but the first one that made it to the net went in. And so did the second. And the third. (And yes, I have a lot of time on my hands)

    Some more:

Alex Mogilny scored 20 seconds into his first shift in his first game on his first shot.

Danny Gare score on his first shot 18 seconds into his first shift.

Denis Hamel scored on Marty Brodeur on his first shot on goal.

Paul Byron scored his first goal on his first shot, although it was in his second NHL game.

I guess it's not as rare as one might think!

We were both way off. The list appears to be about 8-9 now.
