Upper Deck Shows Off Some Artifacts Previews!

Some fans have been waiting for this release of NHL Artifacts since last season. It is one of the first product that gives hockey fans the opportunity to experience the power of the Upper Deck Double Rookie Class with live rookies who skated last season and exchange cards for rookies who will skate later on this season.
What most hardcore puck fans really love about the product however is the quality memorabilia cards and cool parallels for rookies, veterans and legends. And we wanted to share a bit of that before the product officially hits. When new products are packing out, Upper Deck staff will routinely open boxes to test the quality of the product. We were able to grab some scans of some of the cards pulled from some boxes to share here today. We should also share the boxes we broke had no issues with damage, insert ratio or collation and we hope that to be indicative of the production run. We will be sharing a few more right here on Monday so make sure to check back. In the meantime, enjoy this early preview!

That Sakic black is extra clean. I don't know why treasured swatches exists. Rookies jersey/patches are sure to be a hit. Would like to see a /15 in spectrum.

Tuesday can't get here soon enough! Artifacts is my wife's and my favorite product to break. Can't wait to share our results with all of you...

Yeah me too. But I fear I will not be able to get my hands on the product Tuesday, because of stupid work. I will check your breaks for sure!

Looks like a great product once again, wish I could break some but saving for other products.
Only thing I don't like is the addition of rookie patches, don't need photo shoot jerseys watering down yet another product (assuming they are using rookie photo shoot jerseys like most rookie game used cards).

From what I've seen on ebay, it's a massive set with some great looking cards. The teams canada in red border are very great and even the little ruby make great effect. The spectrum will probably grow on us with the four corners. Some great cards already pulled.
